There are some cracking vets in the grounds. Last year at Ragley hall they had a couple of tree surgey stalls where they were doing work on some of the old pollards. Should take us about 2 hours to get up to blenheim from our house.

i havent been to this event yet, and as its at blenhiem with so many interesting vets a dual reason for attendance!

They have some cracking Sweet Chessies and a few massive Oaks in the grounds. The usual food layout is next to the trees as it give people some shade.

Here is one of the man anicents in Blenheim Palace. When i was there last time i noted some Inonotus dryadeus growing out of the base. 2 of the brackets had been snapped off from people sitting on them but there was one still there. It had been deadwooded prior to the fair.

Went to the CLA Game Fair today was a good day and a fantastic turnout. It took us just over 2 hours to get up there from Blandford. Traffic was very light until the A34/44 junction. Didnt buy much as was very expensive. I paid 4 quid for a pint of "lager" and 6.50 for a sweet chilli baguette!! Was expecting it to be expensive but not stupid prices.
