Give the guy a break lads, he's starting out, he should learn the hard way, it's a bit much, some of you lot struttin about with the old my cocks bigger than yours routine. If they are happy at his price then so what. Come on, were a sound group of people on here.

why not charge £120 as per your normal day rate ? your new to tree work and if this is your first reduction your going to need to take your time and make sure that you get it right . treat this as a chance to further your Arb knowledge. i would not think about charging a tree surgeons rate unless you are certain you can assure the same standards and service . without sounding patronising - there is far more to tree work than CS units !!
