I'm fairly sure this happened to us a few months back.

We were taking out a load of road side trees for the LA, when a pickup and entec chipit, pulled up across the other side of the road, the driver knocked on the door and spoke to the home owner, he kept pointing at us.

They got some work at that house and then proceeded to knock at all the houses (that had trees or hedges) up the road they picked up another job further up the road.

Each time the home owner came to the door, the guy pointed at us, so I'm fairly sure he was say they were with us.

Be careful mate. I know of someone that had a phone call from an old lady who wanted to know when he was coming back to finish the trees that she'd paid for. Someone had taken one of his cards.

Yeah for sure . Although it comes to something when you have to make an on the spot decision as to whether or not this is a potential real customer :001_smile:

Only way around people pretending to be you is when you go and quote for the work, pass on your card and perhaps show them you Drivers license so they can be sure it is you that is providing the work. Then if they do get a chance that trys it on they can ask for ID to verify the business card.
