This bridge has the A350 (Main trunk road from Poole port to A303) over the top of it. It has 44 ton arctics thundering over it all day every day and occasionally an escorted heavy load (60 ton +). It is being "Shotcreted" as the first course of bricks were working loose with the vibrations of the constant traffic.

Am I alone in thinking that a streak of blacktop throgh the countryside is aesthetically offensive? It could have been toned down a little with some white shingle rolled into the top layer.

Thats whats happening in the near future. It is going to be having yellow grit rolled into tar on top. Its an anti-slip surface or as i have called it the anti-slip/ high graze surface.
