Obviously didn't see the tree, but it looked like there was plenty of scope for felling in in a oner so didn't need climbing............

1) Great vid and editing.

2) You are allowed to use two hands on the saw.

3) You could have felled it safely from the ground. BS about damaging twigs on other trees doesn't come into it compared to the value of a human life.

Nope, surely thats the main reason why we are tree surgeons!?

 

Remove that and we are fallers.

Maybe the tree couldn't be felled. Hard to tell from the vid, but those stubs didn't help when dropping limbs. Fair play for climbing it though
