New firewood suppliers directory goes live

After several months of development the Arbtalk UK firewood suppliers directory is now live.

 

The choice of software for this project was vast but looking at the final product i believe the right choice was made.

There are various ways for customers to find your listing, from searching general terms, your business name, or a postal code proximity search which covers the whole of the UK.

 

Those of you who have already signed up, thank you for supporting this, and I hope it proves a worthwhile source of advertising for you.

 

For anyone wishing to take out a listing, this has been made as simple as possible for you. Simply register on the directory and choose your advertising package. Paypal is set up to make it as easy as possible to get your listing up and running in minutes.

Nothing comes up for me or devon / plymouth when I search by area or postcode (am sure I signed up @ the start )...???

when you say you signed up, you mean you prepayed with paypal? did you also get my email with promitional code some time after the intial sign up and put your details on the directory?

Nice Job Steve - simple and easy to use.

 

Just did a search and it has my name up there. The google map is blank though i.e. it has a tag showing me but the rest of the map other than the scale in the....

 

.... ah the scale is seems to be set to default 5ft/10m.

 

Now I zoom out it shows the normal google map. It may be an idea to set this scale to 1mile/2km or people may think the map isn't working.

it works rob, you need to sign in to your account and tune the map settings to your own preferences

Didn't recall having Rx the email - have checked and no - never received it!!!
