When you posted this I half expected some on here to take the proverbial.

It's refreshing to have someone bigging themselves down and I applaud your honesty.

It's been identified that your saw was the main problem and that will chime for everyone experienced on here. Now you need to learn sharpening to a fine degree and if you really find it isn't working then get a few new chains so you are reminded how good a properly sharpened chain should cut. This will make you learn the skill as this is often the issue with saws.

Not many on here will not remember their c30 & 31 course- we all came away with memories and I think also a headache from learning so much so quickly.

Get your climbing tickets and there are so many more avenues for you to branch into.

We had every confidence in you! It's amazing what a few days off can do to help you get your head straight. I think as adults we don't cope too well with someone scrutinising our work/technique at such close quarters. Even worse when other people are seeming to have no probs. What next?

thanks..life it's too short to be fake.. I've got some good advice and a confidence booster which was needed the most I guess...
