From what i can tell its just got a dent on one corner. Not entirely sure how it happened TBH.......worryingly, it must have come undone....or want done up correctly in the first place. It wasnt in use at the time, just being moved. I have to say that i prefer the locking mechanism of the isc block.

havent looked into these impact blocks, other than seeing how good they look, what sort of locking mechanism do they have? i like the one on my isc one :001_smile:

They have a threaded mechanism. Whether or not the climber hadnt done it up right or what I just dont know. Its not like he is a newbie- he has been climbing for over 20 years!!
