Hi

My engine on my chipper has just overheated and now need a replacement. Can anyone tell me where to get a replacement engine from.

Or would anyone be interested in the chipper as they may have a replacement engine ready to go in or fancy a project.

If you intend to keep the machine then I'd replace the engine. Else sell it as is as you'll probably never recoup your money. Probably best on ebay as you'll probably get more money than you realise for it!!

Have you had someone check out the engine?

Could it not just need a head skim?

Actually it prob wont(thinking on alloy heads on car engines)

Might just need a head gasket!

I wish it was the head gasket. I ve done less than 200 hrs on it had it serviced 3 times since purchase. Had a re cored rad a few months ago.

It has marks on the bores and cylinders so not good.
