Would this be a good truck for log delivery

Not sure but 50mph max so maybe 35 up hill loaded on dual carriage way. Think engines are 1700cc vw . over 3.5 tonnes so may need operators licence. They normally make good money. The crane will struggle to unload cu metre bags and its in the way. Never driven one or seen one in the flesh. they look quircky could be the bis could be a nightmare

There are a few run around here a local building company have some and the NHS have three that are rigged up with gritters for the hospital.

Some have a VW engine in 1700 (as gensetsteve says) and also a 2.3 (ish) the crew cab one i looked at that the local building company had was an iveco engine, i dont know if thats factory or aftermarket.

They said parts were hard to come by and quite expensive,
