Chainsaw Boots

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year :thumbup1:

I was wondering with the recent and current winter conditions we are experiencing coupled with the warm dry summer if there is a pair of chainsaw boots that have stood up to both weather/work extremes?

I need to purchase a pair in the next day or two and was hoping you guys could let me know what you would recommend?

The work I will be doing is all groundwork.

Have a prosperous 2011 everyone.

Ben.

I really like the Haix tibet forest but the pair I've got this time don't seem to be wearing quite as well as the previous ones and have been leaking a little bit (only damp and to be fair they have been subject to being under snow for the last few weeks) but they are still super comfy and have a proper sole with tread on it (not like some I'd looked at previously)

I must admit though I'm fancying trying on a pair of Meindl when these wear out as I've heard lots of good stuff about them.

Been using a pair of Elten Aquafell's for a couple years now and have to say they're really nice, once i got them worn in (after a few days) i found myself using them for more than work. Decided to buy myself a pair of Husqvarna technical boots havent used them yet but they will get a bit of work soon. Both of which are higher length boots as i havent been doing any climbing yet.

Regards,

Jay
