I was watching that too but wouldn't risk it - could easily have been new bodywork and crap engine...

For starters, where are the felling dogs? If it's in such good condition why are they missing???

nice 346xp on there,3 months old :thumbup1:

I paid well over $400 USD for a like new looking 254xp once.

Sometimes if you want something bad enough you have to pay.

but $400 is only £257,i would have snapped his arm off at that price:thumbup1:

this saw went for almost double:001_huh:

dont get me wrong, good saw ive got one.

the saw is in outstanding condition, but at the end of the day its used!

£390+£10 post, you have just spent £400 on a second hand saw older model with no warranty, what happens if after 1 week it goes bang!

i think i would rather add £100 more and buy a brand new 346xp:thumbup1:

time to look under my bench and see if i can make up a couple of 254xp,s out of the boxes of bits i,ve got.:001_smile: i still use a 154se most days. It was 45 quid though:thumbup:

if you knock one up i will give you £50

seem a hell of a lot for a used and old saw, as a matter of intrest how would one compare to a new 346xp??? as thats what iam thinking of getting to replace my 254( maybe il polish it up stick it on ebay and retire!!)

I've worked with lads that always remove them, they said it stops you forcing the saw and makes them last longer.
