Van's ok but really limits what you can do. Of course it is warm and dry, can carry all your kit easily, has a radio, blah blah blah. Just get a Mog! with a crane. and a large trailer, you'll be sorted.

I have a friend who uses a quad and he told me that the automatics are not so good to use because they travel at too high a speed for doing his spraying and fertilizing. He bought a polaris manual transmission.

I shouldnt want an automatic for pulling timber, think it'd be trying to change up when you dont want it. Do need switchable 2/4wd really, but thats for the future, maybe on a 500cc model. As for the forwarding trailer, gonna have to think about that to see if it'll earn its keep seriously doubt if the crane would be as quick as I should like, but hey if it saves my poor old back, it may be worthwhile.
