If you sell a tonne or 1.5cu meters processed for £150 can you not make it pay. I think you will be paying £1400 + vat for an artic load from now on. A tonne of green beech will occupy 2 cu metres of space on a lorry as nearly 50% is air. It makes no difference if u buy weight or meterage unless u really want the water. He will sell at that price because its a sellers market the first half of the winter has been very cold and logs are in short supply. You should now be able to sell for £100 a cube all day long

Sadly where me and mr Faulkner are from at 100 quid a cube people just wouldn't be interested.
