why dont you try a blakes with a micro pully underneath it which is attached to the spliced eye end of the rope by a boot latce and a equipment beena so then you can just use one hand

just about to change from cinch to ART pos.cinch has started to bite due to wear and tear or maybe just needs a gd clean which is what im trying now but the ART pos looks to be THE 1 and as mentioned nothing wrong with prussic and pulley, still a very smooth option

i bought a cinch never really liked it so used a distel and a pully on sidestrop and put the cinch on my flipline seems to work well,

i think mechanical stuff sounds good but complicates things ill just stick to the knots

i use and ART positioner and swear by it , i have only been using it few weeks and previously was using a distel and micro pulley , i found that it got in the way some times and not as accurate as i can be with the positioner , some may knock modern mechanicle devices but untill you use them and see just how much of an improvment they can make i would not knock them .
