I think the current revised 338xp has more cc's than the ms200t ??.....needs exhaust porting and a tune to make stronger its just the same old breaking exhaust and plug cover that to me let it down....once ported it seemed alot faster and more torque just damn annoying replacing covers that either willl result in electric shocks or burns if not dealt with!!! saying that the 200t chain break handle seem to be made from porcelain now!!

eletrolux is the company

husqvarna are part of that group?

dont get me wrong,i am not knocking husqvarna, all my saw are husky xps

and i love them:thumbup1:

but when it comes to the climbing saw, stihl are king of the tree:blushing:

i would love to see husky knock them off their perch, but i cant see what they have done any different to the 338xpt except for the silver front?

540xpt -2.4hp/3.6kg...............338xpt -2.3hp/3.5kg

the ms200t is 35cc and the 338xpt is 38cc[the ms200t is still regarded as a better saw]?

i am not brand bias as i own a 338xtp:lol:

the main company split years and years ago,,, the motorbikes are now part of bmw, im unsure of huskys and electroluxes conection

I dont get the problem people have with the stihl caps? :confused1:

we replace the oli cap on our current ms200 and it refuses to lock propoly, (well it does but theres a knack to it) i was of ill one day and the replacement groundsman didnt no about this knack,, he sent the saw up to the climber, climber clips it on his harness, looks down a minit lates to find the cap undone and chain oil soaking his trousers and hi climbing rope.
