the only times i have to submit a scale map is for the felling licences from the forestry commission, and they usually send one out for me to mark up, good eh? for conservation area apps just a readable scribble map on the tpo form is ok, if they want any more get them to help you with it:thumbup:

While we are on the subject of TPO applications. Submitted my first around 6 weeks ago (using google maps for my sketch plan), the time scale they give me to get back to me was around 6 weeks. How long can they take if they start dragging their heels about it, could i be waiting a while??

Forget paying for that! If you really want a scale map, register on the planning portal website for online applications. Find the maps you like to what ever scale..then picture-rip (screen grab) them and post off with your application.

I am going to make an online application instead of a paper/post application now. It says this on the planning portal site :

"Every planning application needs a site location plan and a block plan showing the location and boundaries of the site you are planning to work on.

The Planning Portal's accredited partners will ensure that you meet your local planning authorities requirements, whether you are a planning professional or first-time applicant."

But in the actual application forms it only asks for a sketch plan?!?!?

(the application is for works to my tpo tree not a conservation area application as i first thought)

Does any one know by any chance do i have to buy a plan from their 'accredited partners'!?
