As for the whole parts thing its next day parts with husky's thats spot on!! I have waited over a week for stihl stuff but then if you actually ordered the saw you could be waiting weeks!!as the two departments are not connected,not much to choose between the two though.

u got anyone down ur way who may let u hold /have a go with a 660 or 395

i got hold of both at the APF and liked the weight and feel of the 660 better that 395 but everyone is different

best advice is buy a new saw u no the history of the saw

just go with ur gut feeling on the day you want to buy one of the 2 saws and u will have a great saw

ps. keep us upto date with witch one u buy
