Nice motors mate, was after one myself but couldn't get one for love ner money at the time, ended up with a hilux crew cab base model, if your after a rodeo go for the newer 2.5 better fuel and performance :thumbup1:

very nice looking truck ,but not a patch build quality on a hi lux . The engine was second to none untill they got rid of the 3.1 and went to the dohc engine

I am a bit out of touch with isuzu, I think our yard truck has the 3.1 94 plate trooper ? I think they went to a 3.0 common rail around 1998 but the rodeo has a different and better engine. The late trooper engine was alot of trouble.

a mate had one and had an engine in it in the first year he had it from new. ive got a newshape l200 and its great and had an oldshape with no problems.

do your research and make sure you look at the truck your buying thoroughly or take a mechanic friend with you and service regular i do mine every 4500 mile turbos on truck dont like dirty oil and a service cost me £50 plus a bit of time at night or on the weekend

theres problems with all makes and models on the market id rather buy one of a bloke thats serviced it himself regular than someone who has full service stamped book but might only be once a year
