Who have you spoken to at the LA? There are many departments.

If the trees were next to a path try the footpaths or rights of way officer. Cast the asking net a little wider on the morrow.

Do you mean the trees are in a conservation area?

If the trees are protected let the LA do the detective work

Yes i do and ok Any idea where i can get a 211 from Would it be on my local la website or would i just go in and ask for one.

As its on the land owners should i leave it down to them?

Do they teach you nothing at Myerscough?

A 211 is a notification of intent, it can be in any form but must be sufficiently detailed for the officer to identify the location, the tree and your intentions. Most LA’s want you to use their forms but you don’t have to.
