According to the MB Trac manual the MBTrac 800 is 75hp not 100hp and only 60hp at the pto so will be lacking in grunt to run a big chipper.

I thought that too but it says it's a turbo which could mean two things. Its either got a turdo added to an engine not designed for it or an upgraded engine which I reckon is unlikely. Good toy though...:thumbup1:

We have used MB Tracs for years now the 1000 model is 100 hp the 800 im not so sure about but we did have one and it is deffinatly not as powerful. Having said that they are very nice little tractor fantastic off roaders and the turbo probably does boost it up :001_smile:

The MB Trac 800 with a factory fitted turbo was badged as the MB Trac 900 Turbo and is 85hp as opposed to the stand MB Trac 800 of 75hp still a long way short of 100hp.

 

Looks like it never reached its reserve of £7500
