Lot of money for an 08s. They normally fetch less than a ton.A lot less.Saws in general on there seem to be selling for good money though.

 

The 08s is a bit of a pig realy,not the best saw.

 

That's a lot of money for a really old saw! Not many safety features, vibrates like hell, no spares available, illegal to employ someone to use it. There will be a disappointed buyer and, at the current price, a new Stihl is affordable.

 

I have had the misfortune of owning one of those, also a cut off saw and post hole borer with that same 'orrible power head:lol:

Maybe the seller means he will pay that price for someone to take it off his hands!:laugh1::lol:

 

As above, very lucky to get that wonga even in that condition. HORRIBLE saw! :thumbdown:
