Willow tree previously reduced about 5 years ago, not by me....no comment on the previous works, the tree is under a planning condition and the local tree officer had recommend to remove crossing branches from regrowth, reduce 2 large limbs over a road quite hard that had been left from the previous reduction, crown raise and remove from BT wire, only my 3rd real go with the rope wrench today, really slippery but really enjoyed the climb. Feel like I've really bonded with the wrench now....

So if i even had any doubt about buying the winch, today i was a true believer, So we had a call out fallen black pine, 25ft long and 60m drag to the chipper. We set the winch up to cover 45m worth and had to set re directs to go around a few obstacles . So we cut the tree in half to pass the other pines whilst turning it and flipped the other part onto it and strapped it together. Winch away all dragged down in 5mins i think without it it would of taken 30mins extra on the job.
