I had old blunt bash lions at the time, and just did the usual scramble and scuffed knuckles ascent, after 40 feet the bark was smooth as you say, mine was only about 100ft I reckon, I lumped it down until the 46 ran out of single bat length then my mate felled. It was like cutting butter lol

Gareth ...these pictures are Arb Gold!..you need your own thread...and a new name,something like.."Gareth "Giant Smasher" Jones..You could make quite a Work portfolio with these shots you,re posting...keep em coming!

 

Ha giant smasher! Seeing as I'm about 5 ft 6 and 9 stone it fits well :001_tongue:
