Andy' date=' there was a question on a quiz show the other night, true or false is there a council in britain removing loads of trees due to problems with doggers? i was shouting, true true, Andy is doing it just now:thumbup:[/quote]

What kind of channels do you watch? Not your regular University Challenge question! We'll be back there when the little birdies have finished nesting to carry out some more work, the woods are to be thinned out, remedial tree surgery over the best dogging pitches, and a couple more rides to widen.

reduced the side of this beech today, no before pics sorry. it was over the house and one sided. so i just took the one side back and reduced it in, the customer didnt want the whole tree done, just enough to stop the leaves and nuts falling in his gutters. the lower limbs have been removed years ago.:sneaky2:

still trying to get the hang of reducing rather than just cutting limbs off:blushing::001_smile:

was it the one at the bottom of the last pis that you reduced:confused1:

it was just the house side of the beech bob, thats all. pics are rubbish because of the sky in the back ground, but i didnt leave big stubs like i used to, i got some first hand pointers from a clever yorkshire man one day that has really helped:sneaky2::laugh1:

another little willow reduction as usual they wanted it harshly cut back off garage and towards there house, but think it turned out into a nice shape, horrible day for getting round the tree. really windy and peeing it down with rain and no branches till tips and loads of moss made for quite a slippery half days work. still all good fun. :thumbup1:
