yeah it was pretty wobbly, had fire damage up oneside, the building contractor had acidently had a fire to close to it:sneaky2:

A VERY nice purple beech in Henley, had a little tickle at it last year but I wasnt happy and we went back to reduce the right hand side that was going phototropic and had begun to lose bark on the upper surfaces (due to tension).

 

A little Oak reduction, this was our after lunch job!

 

Had been pollarded many moons ago, as you can see from the old cut in the last image.

yeah i know, i had to fell it at a daft hight(head hight) for the guy as he wanted a big seat carved out of it.

 

we are working there in the next month or so, il have a look and see how much regrowth there is on it:lol:
