white poplar with advanced cubicle brown rot caused by laetiporous sulphureus(chicken of the woods)

top was already snapped and leaning in another tree, plenty room for feel so we put a cable on it and pulled with the tractor....you can see from the pics that i only just nicked the back a few inches before getting outta the way...it was totally knackered

Steve, were there any brackets still attached?

If so, how many and at what height were they?

 

 

Great pics by the way.

Too rarely get to see photos on the extent of particular types of decay. :thumbup1:
