I'd have been about 10 feet further in from the tips on a pop!

 

:lol::lol: Cheers mate. Deffinatly not my favourite tree to reduce!

Nice work John that ash at the end looked a skinny one!! Bet that was a wobbler? The euc looked like it was in a rough area:001_tongue:

yeah it was pretty wobbly, had fire damage up oneside, the building contractor had acidently had a fire to close to it:sneaky2:

 

the big house with the euc dismantle is owned by said builder

A VERY nice purple beech in Henley, had a little tickle at it last year but I wasnt happy and we went back to reduce the right hand side that was going phototropic and had begun to lose bark on the upper surfaces (due to tension).

 

A little Oak reduction, this was our after lunch job!:sneaky2:

 

Had been pollarded many moons ago, as you can see from the old cut in the last image.

yeah i know, i had to fell it at a daft hight(head hight):blushing: for the guy as he wanted a big seat carved out of it.:confused1:

 

we are working there in the next month or so, il have a look and see how much regrowth there is on it:lol:
