Well it's been a little wet of late & my water proof jacket is no longer water proof after a couple of winter/spring tours.

I was on the wonder of what water proof clothing is generally worn out & about & if people choose to spend good £ on their wet weather work clothes?

I go for ex army gortex it dries quickley, its light, strong and the hoods are big enough to go over your lid so you dont get a wet neck! :thumbup1:

Think I paid 40 quid for my last one and its lasted years of abuse

I've currently got a Stein jacket and I reckon I was quite a bit less wet (on the top half at least after maybe 6 hours solid rain today!)than the others on site wearing various other makes. It dries pretty quick too.
