Should be great with my chuck and duck chipper then :biggrin: It eats it so fast you don't have time to get out of the way before the branch comes whipping around. I'll have my groundy see to it, he's usually getting belted by the odd branch that's out of control. Willow, Pin Oak and Birch are the worst but this one might really make him sing.

hi there not too bad!! we did some a while back we just spiked up taking the branches off id say best not to let a big pile build up and could try and get hold of some welders gaunlets these have extra protection up the arms and are tough gloves. good luck!

at least you didnt get asked to reduce it like my boss asked me the other day, ended up a ladder with the pole saw!

OUCH!!! He's gonna love you lol. If I was him I,d ask you to demonstrate safely feeding the chipper

I've found it burns rather well. We cleared an area of woodland to create a woodland glade area for butterflies. Where possible we avoided the planted Monkey Puzzles but a few were clobbered. We have more trees to fell in that area as they are begining to lean heavily towards the path searching for light. We have had 8 fail this year already.
