This is what I used on a emergency job last friday...

Resultat av Googles bildsökning efter http://www.maskinisten.net/album_pic.php?pic_id=3094

Pretty high winds in Sweden and loads of trees had fallen over the powerlines, me and the tractor with operator managed to get 18 trees of the lines in one hour.

Very skilled operator on the 1060

Me either in the basket knocking of tops or me on the ground cutting and him lifting whole trees and stacking as we went along...

Very versatile and fast and yes it was very muddy!

I would second Dave's machine, having worked with it on a couple of sites. Very capable, zero tail swing, and it comes with the right accessories.

Get a quote for the haulage though, that will cost you more than the hire.

(Unless Dave is going to run it up on the big trailer behind the fastrac!)

to buy a huddig you will probably need to turn sell your whole families kidneys to pay for it. you are unlikely to get a demo company to hire it if you do check it well over as these machine have esually had a tough life take lots of pics and get a list of previous damage
