Timber haulage in Inverness shire

Are there any locals on here who know of any haulage companies in the area who have a rigid timber wagon? (don't think I've seen any on the road)

 

I might have a load or two of logs to be moved less than 10 miles, but I don't think you'd be able to get in with an artic.

 

There's currently no machinery to load/unload so would need something with its own hiab/grab

riddles dont really have ridgid lorrys they have wag and drags (i see jim mcwilliam has his brand new one now) give em a try though and see though

Thanks everyone, wee Jim phoned us earlier to say that he now knows Grants of Ballindalloch have a couple of timber rigids or wag n drags (I only ever see their artics)

 

Still have to sort out the land to put the wood on so we'll see what happens

Hi scbk...if you don't have any luck with Riddell's, you could try Ferguson Transport : Road Haulage and Distribution Services, shipping, craneage, warehousing. No idea if they have what you are looking for though
