na unfortunately i was hoping for it:sneaky2: it is proper country mate aye for wind :lol: it was calm when we pulled up then got quite windy when i was climbing then it stopped just after it was down typical! cheers stephen i love jobs like this too, with the rot in the tree i wasnt messing about in the top or lowering owt, less cuts means less amount of times it can times it can go wrong :thumbup:

sometimes the wind can be your friend, gutsy couple of cuts from a pro:thumbup1:, i am with you now doing them, sitting back, shallow gob, a wee bit nervous but confident, pushing chain side for the back cut, reach round to the house side first , follow it round , hold off the revs then, FULL power, couple of blips and hold your breath and watch it go right where you want it, then since the adrenalin is flowing knock out the second, not as easy to read and not as definate as the first but that wind will be helping nicely, same as before except further to jump it, maybe even behind the stem this time, cut cut, vroom vroom, if it was me i would have the saw away and given it a push leaving the cut about 2 feet higher than the first. crash bang tastic, i bet your heart was pumping:thumbup:
