Is this the worst environmental crime Poole has seen? (From Bournemouth Echo)

 

 

Anyone heard of anyone ever being caught for this type of thing? In this situation, even if they do get caught, the view they have opened up increases value of properties loads more than the fine.

I grew up round there and saw the mega-rich ghetto-ification of that area. They are all total scum in sandbanks (well- the newcomers anyway). That makes me so sick. I reckon i know the trees they are referring to.

sickens me......wish they wouldnt show how its done though!!!! I know in this age that any info we want is at our finger tips but there are still alot of people who ask me the best way to kill a tree. There are many who havent a clue or wouldnt know how to find out. They shouldnt be showing it:thumbdown:

It says that they can be fined up to £20000 in court but am I right in saying that if there is monatary gains to be made for instance on a building site they can be fined up to the value of the property?

Id be right up for that- I can ring a few pikies and new age travellers who can go and break in and have a huge party and squat the place and generally trash it......

Grrrrrr!!!! This is so frustrating!!! I see this kind of thing far too often but unless there is a credible witness or cctv footage etc, then sod all is ever likely to happen to the culprits. A lot depends on the LAs legal department as well, as, unless they are pretty much guaranteed to win a case, they won't go to court over it.

So janey is there NOTHING that can be done to change this set-up? As an industry can we make a difference? (I am assuming not btw)
