Surf Conditions

Thought id attempt to exploit the site for my own personal gain into finding out what the surf is/will be doing over the next week. Any one living in Devon or Cornwall near the coast (west) has any thing to say about the surf conditions down their i would be greatly appreciative. lost all trust in surf report sites from the last couple of times iv trusted them. all i need is approx height, how clean the waves are and offshore onshore wind, also location.

check magicseaweed.look at the weather charts,projected swell heights and wind directions,choose spots that work under different winds that are close to each other. join the national trust for cheap car parking(when surfing multiple spots its amazing how quickly the nt car parking charges add up.read the storm rider guide,this will tell you what spots work under conditions and explore

reasonable surf hitting cornwall this weekend, between 5-6 foot with offshore wind. pity its not firing down in devon, means i gotta drive an extra 2-3hours

Llangennith is the place... used to drive up there on fridays from London, spend the weekend chillin and surfin. Happy times :wave::wave:

 

went there last year and they had changed the campsite, seemed to lose a bit of the buzz.

yeah know what you mean about the camping gone more family than wild fun nights!

 

but they have recently put in loads more facilities plus the kings head is building a surf lodge thing:drunk:

 

ps surf was a mellow 1-2ft and blazing sunshine this morning before work. nothing better than having a good surf before a good climb
