I know what you mean,looked at all sorts at the woodfair,really liked the look if the Farmi/mastersplit one - but there seems to be a lot to choose from and they aren't cheap!

 

Indeed, just after some first hand experience from somebody that owns one.

I like the pto aswell as the petrol engine on the Farmi I think it was actually..

I can't make it to the Apf tommer.

Our neighbour bought a japa 300 a few yrs ago, its crap! hardly done anything and now its falling apart, the bar is lubricated by hydrulic oil which is stupid, the bar just wears out in no time. Plus when you get a knotty bit it jams up, only about 5 ton split (more like 2) not impressed with this machine. you dont get alot for your money.

 

We have a Posch, now thats a real machine!
