ok this is really annoying me, looked at the manual for the master controll with no joy. its not realyl the fact that its not working as such, its just the master controll lever wont go into the off position. its only it hovers around it but their is no difinitive click or secure hold in it. seems i can only set it at on which is constantly is half choke and full choke. but it wont click into off and stop.

AHHHHHH YESSSS. just worked it out. contact spring slipped out its normal position on the master control. causing, must have been when he last used it. over the 6 months it didnt do any thing the spring settles into a new position so every time i tried to switch it off, it wouldnt slip on to the short circuit wire and instead just popped the shaft outta its pivot mount, causing imense frustration. in the end it was a simple case of bending the contact spring slightly so it all run smoothly again. sorry for the indepth account but its one of those times when u spend 2 hours trying to work somthign out then it all suddenly makes sense. to bad my girlfreind got pissed off and bored with me an hour ago and fell asleep....

Absolutely cracking saw for cutting big rings in half because of the 1.3mm blade width gives off no much shavings.

ok maybe... but a 361 with 325 chain and 14" bar will do it in a quarter of the time and an axe gives no shavings at all.

ive used them ive evan owned one and given it away ...we nick named it the pencil sharpener, wish id had kept it for carving though.

If you need to get things done this aint the saw,as steve says it makes a handy chipper saw and if it gets left out by the chipper and stolen it wont be missed as opposed to a £400 saw
