I promise you it is Gleophylum odoratum, i knew it was a glephylum as soon as you showed me the photo and i coneected the smell as anise:thumbup1:

 

was a top top find my man.

While were on the subject of fungi freaks i would like to point this fine chap out. He made it absolutley clear that in no way was he a "fungi freak" as was there purely in the interests of recording a gathering of nerds from a reportage point of view:lol:

 

mmmmmm I think he might have been telling porky pies!
