Cheers Ian. It was a marathon....left wadebridge (35 miles up the road) at 6 am, and got back home at 12.20 am this morning.......in the landy!!!!!!

Are you 100% sure its the box?

 

Only ask because because I have seen a few poor wiring/connections problems plus a dodgy feed(your alternator) that have caused a no stress problem.

 

Wouldn't want you to spend a load of money on a new box to find the alternator feed is goosed!

I had today off Ian. Thats enough. Yeah, the 620 has gone to a happy home. Miss it already.

 

Mesterh- I have spent today investigating, and am pretty sure it is the box. The solenoid deffo works, there is a voltage off the alternator, thoug i havent put a hertz meter on it, and yes, the wiring was well shot, so i replaced most of it. I will get a hertz meter on it before i buy a new box though.
