I have a 9" vermeer chipper, with problems with the no stress control. The part that is at fault is the APECS unit, and is made by Synchro Start. They have now been taken over by Woodward. I am having trouble sourcing this part, as it may not be made anymore.

Anyone got any ideas?:001_smile:

If you cant get a replacement part you can buy a different type of unit altogether around the £300 mark. It fits any auto feed system I think plus you can adjust the rpm of the rollers kicking in/out and it has an hour clock.:thumbup1: OH and tells you the rpm of your engine so can help if you think it aint running to full capacity etc.

If your interested I'll have a look about at who sells them.

Cheers guys. I have spoken to a few suppliers, and a few have mentioned a new part that is different but will work, for around 3-4 hundred. If i could get the original it should be between 150 and 200.

Cheers for the link TCD. I knew about the no stress.
