He makes some valid yet obvious points IMO. BUT he makes some very bigoted ones too. Particularly about the mosque. Is Westminster abbey a massive faith based building? I wouldn't want to say no to British Muslims when the apathetic Christians of London have such a huge building already.

Unlike the man in the film I don't fear Muslims. I do fear hatred, violence and terrorism. these things belong to all faiths and all races, and to some extent to a greater degree. The SAS were training the Khmer People's National Liberation Armed Forces how to plant land mines in paddy fields to have the greatest effect on the population. That's terrorism right there, sanctioned by the British government. The terrorism of Tony Blair in the former Yugoslavia and Iraq is well documented. I could go on but the point is made. this man should be campaigning for peace and love not encouraging the divisions that already exist. He's no doubt a member of UKIP or the BNP a Daily mail reader. please ignore his polarized tabloid politics.

That's an excellent post Jason.

From an American who wears the scars of terrorism disguised as awards for service, all sanctioned beliefs use the power of influence from fear and concerted efforts to "appease" or "win the hearts and minds" of people elsewhere, or differing beliefs, is no different than a training camp for Al Queda hiding in Pakistan.

When nationalistic pride or ecumenical emotion is co-opted to further the efforts, one can see how easily we fall victim to supporting terror. There's no difference from wearing a backpack of explosives into a marketplace than dropping a democratically elected village mayor out of a chopper at 5 thousand feet - or poisoning rice paddies with Agent Purple - all to make a point. Here we documented our government sending smallpoxed blankets to Indian reservations late in the 19th century, precluding what we like to think was an inexcusable event on 9/11/01. What we haven't done was admit the action, Bin Laden had the honor to usurp us.

No, religion's history is cause d' effect of violence and wars, the larger the following the easier it's been to let blood help it's growth, having the gift of thought has only been an obstacle, to be punished so no one else can question God's "authority".
