tree surgery holidays!!

Large sycomore I reduced last week in croqete dale in northumberland nation park for my father,tree is rumered to be 400 years old ,guy who is 94 used to play in cavity on the left when it was part of the grounds for an old school!

loads of decay at base of main forks so was reduced hard.

yeah was awsome weather!dead stilll and perfectly still enjoyed it much working with them,after 3 days of northumberland trees it was nice to get on some southern pansey today tree's through!! even in wind and rain they were easyer than the beasts we worked on last week!!but i dont get to go fishing for wild trout in hill lochs afterwards though!

Are those Zermatts, how do you find them ?

I really like them,very well thought out boots but seem to be wearing fast on the tread but i think the compound they are made from is perfect for climbing ,you can practacly run up a stem with the grip they provide!
