This was a rare chance to do a crown reduction on the councils trees i was working for as its there policy not to reduce trees. Any way here is a picture of the finished job which was a 20% reduction, the tree was a norway maple. I forgot to take a before picture though. Any comments good or bad would be great

looks good mate - i had to do six 20% norway maple reductions just on one road for the council. they aren't very fun to climb, spindly limbs, no good central anchor points.

is that an iveco 4x4??

This one had one good leader, no where near central thought, i kept a foot loop on my me which made a few limbs a lot easier but a certain lack of strong points.

And yes it is a 4x4 iveco

That's a really nice reduction :thumbup1:. If only more LA Contractors were as good (and the specification so sympathetic).

Thank you, I am working on the councils tree team through an agency at the moment some times we do disagree on whether a job is finished. This council is very good for caring for trees, however some do still get neglected
