no chance of me going bald, hairs as thick as wool! would have to be an aggressive fungus!:lol:

I wouldn't be that sure, Onygena species specialise in decomposing shafts of bird feathers and/or bird's bills (Onygena corvina), hoves, horns and human or other mammals' hair such as 100 % woolen socks :001_tt2: .

And I was thinking I was the only one out on Christmas day looking at fungi. In a remote part of the New Forest with no camera download facilities to show you! Merry Christmas all the same fungi finders!
