Has nothing more been written regarding the use of a garlic extract to hinder this beastie?

 

and we have one client who having took the advice of clearing all leaves in autumn and burning them has had very posative effects.

 

 

 

I've not picked up anything else specifically Tony.

 

 

also I've noted that dispatching leave does reduce numbers considerably, but I'll put money on them being back with a vengence on your clients Tree.

 

An unaffected biomass of fresh juicy un-mined leaves will be sent out over the airwaves, and will be a smorgasboard to our little aliens.

The garlic thing was used to alleviate the bleeding cankers and as it also permeated the vascular system gave the tree a garlic twang which by fluke also put off the leaf miners!
