maybe have a look at having the tipper ram re-situated slightly further back , im sure any metall fabrications shops would be able to get it sorted for you

If you do this make sure it is not too far back or the weight at the front will be too much for the ram to lift - had a tipper like this once, an old LT40, and you had to shovel half the chips off before it would tip - not what you want at the end of the day:thumbdown:

It probably won’t happen with a diddy 3.5 tonner but I once saw the backing up and slamming the brakes on with an artic tipper. The nut sheared off the top of the tipper ram. The body dropped onto the chassis smashing it and on its way down forced the ram forward guillotining the cab.

I had the same problem on my landy tipper, I spoke to the hydraulic pump manufacturer and they told me how to turn the pump up. On mine it was the side of the pump body, loosen the locking nut and with a screwdriver give it a half to one turn and re-tighten locking nut. Heypresto it tips with a full load on. I was warned not to turn it up too much because it could damage the seals in the ram. Good luck!
