Some pics of the timber Simon kindly provided me with for milling at the apf. There was a good varied load including beech, ash, willow and some cherry.

 

I'll have some more pics of what the wood was turned into coming soon....

Im with you on this one Simon, I dont know why so many folk dont think they are great! lossent he nut give a twist, sharp again! 3 goes then a change, reckon they is smart!

i agree:thumbup1:, get a diamond grinding disc on a 4inch grinder and touch them up before you leave the yard

A few of todays takedown, not great quality as I only had my iphone.

 

Matt Hirons is in the tree, I was in another on a takedown in the back garden.

Took down this diseased Sycamore today, it was multi stemmed and felt a little unstable when I got to the top to anchor into one of the stems, I'm glad I didnt see the cross section and amount of decay in it before I went up!
