Looks abit rummy to me - sort of chinese. But I have'nt got any knowledge of that model. Should'nt it have a Chain Break? (Doesnt look like it should from a bit of Googling)

 

Same seller, same saw? Listed twice?

doesn't look right, especially as stihl only sell face to face and not through internet for saws

dud... contrary to what the seller claims, stihl dont manufacture any saws in italy... they do have a nice little german back-room that still kicks out the odd 070. but i dont think that saw's ever passed through german hands...

Q: THIS SAW IS A FAKE. Stihl have never made any engines in Italy. The saw looks like a cheap Chinese copy as are often sold on here. THIS SAW WOULD BE ILLEGAL TO USE FOR PROFESSIONAL USE IN THE UK. Work-Mate Please stop advertising your saws (you have two on here) as real STIHL gear, it is false advertising. Secondly EVEN if they were real Stihl does not allow sale apart from face-to-face dealings, bar private sales. 24-Aug-10

if its genuine then its very old stock...

 

070s and 090s made recently have a fairly modern anti-vibe setup and front hand guard.

 

070s and 090s made a couple of dacades ago had a funky wrap around style antivibe setup and before that i believe had no antivibe... but being a 090 owner and fan, you knew that:001_tt2:
