Help identifying problem with horse chestnut tree!!!!

Can anyone help as to what is happening to this horse chestnut tree it has a big split that starts from the base almost to the top of one of the stems

no sign of any bleeding!! i do have a pic of canopy but was taken on my phone so not great but i will add it. My customer did say its very windy where he is would this cause it????

I don't think there is any peeling/flaking bark it is just a big split in the trunk from the bottom to almost the top.The customer has asked if some could b taken of the top and would like to know if the tree would do better with that stem taken out as he is worried it may fall and damage his fence

There are cracks/fractures that like in nearly every chestnut i see, i wouldnt worry too much about it, have a look to see if its just the bark or is in the wood too :001_smile:
