Hanging saw from hitchclimber

is it ok to hang chainsaw (066)from the bottom hole of hitch climber? its what i was doing the other day whilst removing some pines so to take the weight of my harness while i was waiting for ground to be cleared. worked reallyy well just wanted to make sure it was ok

drew, i dont know the answer to your question, but as an alternative, have you tried this? http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=3067&postcount=7

 

clip your saw onto your spliced eye....also good for aerial rescue

 

would of done that steve but didint have spare hitch on me-it was that idea that led me clipping saw lanyard direct to hitch climber. cheers anyway
